WHEN AUTOMATION IS EVERYTHING.

It’s live logic — where milliseconds matter, and uptime depends on precision.

You’ll install, program, and troubleshoot PLC and control systems that power the electrical and mechanical heartbeat of mission-critical facilities across the U.S.

 

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

PLC Programming & Integration — Develop, modify, and troubleshoot control logic in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Modicon environments.
Field Commissioning — Perform startup and loop checks on PLC, HMI, and I/O systems; verify all field signals and control sequences.
System Diagnostics — Identify logic faults, I/O issues, and communication interruptions; restore automation quickly and safely.
Controls Installation — Wire and terminate control panels, sensors, actuators, and network devices per schematics.
SCADA / HMI Operations — Configure and test visualization systems for alarms, trending, and process control.
Instrumentation Calibration — Adjust and verify temperature, pressure, and flow devices for system accuracy.
Preventive Maintenance — Execute PMs on automation and electrical control equipment; document system performance and reliability.
Safety & Documentation — Follow NFPA 70E, LOTO, and OSHA standards; maintain updated as-built schematics and logic backups.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

4+ Years of hands-on PLC field or industrial controls experience.
• Strong knowledge of ladder logic, function block, and structured text programming.
• Skilled with Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000), Siemens (TIA Portal), or Modicon platforms.
• Familiarity with VFDs, MCCs, and control circuits.
• Experience working with BMS/EPMS or SCADA systems.
• Proficient in reading one-lines, P&IDs, and control schematics.
• Current NFPA 70E & OSHA 10; strong safety and LOTO compliance.
• Available for travel, rotating shifts, and rapid-deployment projects.

SKILLS

• HMI development (FactoryTalk View / WinCC / Wonderware).
• Modbus, BACnet, and Ethernet/IP communication setup.
• Low-voltage and fiber-optic terminations.
• Electrical or mechanical trade certification.
• Commissioning and integrated systems testing (IST) experience.
