Our work spans nuclear projects (Licensing, New Build, , Life Extension, and Defueling), renewable energy projects, and high-energy industrial facilities such as data centres and hydrogen production plants. Additional opportunities are available across the wider business.\n\nYour role will be to manage and deliver EC&I engineering solutions to time, cost and quality across a range of projects.
You will work alongside Engineering Managers and Operations Managers to ensure high-value delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as the Responsible Engineer and Technical Authority on major energy projects.\n\t\nDeliver complex EC&I engineering packages to cost, time and quality.\n\t\nLead EC&I strategies, standards and best practices.\n\t\nManage delivery teams across bid, concept, detailed design, installation and commissioning stages.\n\t\nPromote innovation, digital tools and continuous improvement Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for safety-critical systems.\n\t\nProduce high-quality technical reports.\n\t\nEngage with clients, regulators and industry groups.\n\t\nMentor and develop the EC&I engineering team.\n\t\nSupport systems integration, testing and validation (PLC, SCADA, simulators).\n\t\nApply standards, regulations and engineering compliance.\n\t\n.\n\t\nSupport business development and proposals.\n\t\nBuild and maintain client relationships.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\n\nDegree (MEng/MSc/BEng/BSc) in EC&I or related discipline.\n\t\nChartered Engineer status.\n\t\nTeam leadership, line management or Responsible Engineer experience.\n\t\nExtensive EC&I design experience within regulated sectors.\n\t\nStrong understanding of safety, regulation and quality assurance.\n\t\nKnowledge of EC&I design principles, tools and standards (BS, IEC, IEEE).\n\t\nExperience across the full C&I system lifecycle.\n\t\nKnowledge of high-integrity control systems.\n\t\nSystems engineering experience desirable.\n\t\nAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage technical risk.\n\t\nStrong communication and client engagement skills.\n\t\nSubject matter expertise in EC&I engineering.\n\t\nCommitment to continuous professional development.\n\nSalary and benefits\n\n£65-75K per annum\n\nCompany Description\n\nOur client is a global leader in advanced engineering and innovative technology solutions — uniquely positioned to tackle the world’s most complex engineering challenges.\n\nApply Now\n\nIf you are an experienced EC&I Engineer, we encourage you to apply today!
