Atlas Connections has partnered with a leading data center developer and operator to support growth across the U.S. They design, build, and operate large-scale data center campuses serving enterprise, hyperscale cloud, AI, and HPC customers—backed by deep delivery expertise and significant capital resources.

We’re currently hiring a Procurement Manager (Mid-Career) to oversee vendor contracting across development and operational projects in Arlington, VA. (Hybrid).

Summary of Role:

This role will oversee vendor contracting activities across development and operational projects—managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements. You’ll play a key role in controlling costs, mitigating risk, and ensuring high-quality vendor performance to support significant portfolio growth over the next several years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement process for vendor contracts across development, construction, and operational activities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts to align with project and company requirements
  • Develop and maintain a vendor management framework to track performance, compliance, and cost effectiveness
  • Partner with project management, operations, facilities, and legal teams to align agreements with business goals.
  • Conduct competitive bidding and RFP processes to ensure value, quality, and transparency.
  • Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations, service levels, and KPIs.
  • Manage renewals, amendments, and terminations in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize vendor relationships.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting for leadership review.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with the facilities management team.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, and/or contract administration (real estate and/or data centers ).
  • Proven track record of contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, risk mitigation, and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, and operations teams.
  • Technical understanding of data centers / critical facilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field).
  • Professional procurement certification (CPSM, CIPS, etc.) .
