Salary: £140,000 – £150,000 + Package

The Opportunity

A rare opportunity for a Project Director to join a specialist contractor delivering major defence, data centre and industrial projects.

This role will focus on leading a large-scale project and operational teams, ensuring delivery across programme, commercial, quality and client objectives. You’ll play a key leadership role within the business, overseeing complex schemes and supporting long-term client relationships.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

• Leading project teams on a major construction scheme.
• Managing operational delivery from pre-construction through to completion.
• Driving programme, commercial and quality performance.
• Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Leading project planning and risk management.
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor management.
• Managing project reporting and delivery strategy.
• Supporting and mentoring operational teams.
• Ensuring health & safety and compliance standards are maintained.

About You

• Tier 1 project delivery experience on £50m+ schemes.
• Strong understanding of MEP delivery and D&B construction.
• Proven leadership experience across major projects.
• Strong commercial and operational awareness.
• Experience working with NEC and JCT contracts.
• Degree qualified or equivalent construction background.
• Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
