Project Executive

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedules on commercial and mission critical projects. The ideal candidate will have prior experience representing the Mechanical Contractor in a leadership capacity, and will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring that all objectives are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Projects will include, but are not limited to: data centers, higher ed, hospitals, labs, high-purity, and high-tech manufacturing. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Oversee Mechanical scope and operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for projects, ensuring financial objectives are met and cost control measures are implemented.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to track progress and performance.
  • Set appropriate milestones and assign staff qualified to handle the scope and complexity of the project.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proposing solutions to address any challenges that arise.
  • Review and timely approval of the payment supplier and subcontractor invoices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant project management experience (2+ years in Executive Leadership)
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical Construction, P&L management, and vendor relations. 
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience with data center construction or other complex projects of similar size and scope.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to delegate effectively and manage competing deadlines. 
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
