Real Estate Associate AttorneyAmLaw 50 OpportunityCompensation

$310,000 – $390,000+

A premier global law firm is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, REITs, lenders, landlords, tenants, and corporate clients in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.

Ideal Background

• 3–6 years of commercial real estate experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing developers, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, REITs, lenders, landlords, tenants, and corporate clients

• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, development projects, leasing transactions, and portfolio acquisitions

• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, joint venture agreements, operating agreements, easements, and related real estate documentation

• Experience conducting and coordinating title and survey review, zoning and land use analysis, due diligence, and transaction closings

• Experience with real estate finance, hospitality, data centers, logistics, multifamily, office, retail, industrial, energy, or mixed-use developments is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated real estate transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

• New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
