Real Estate Attorney

5G is changing the world. Be part of that change. MD7, a digital infrastructure consultancy, is seeking a strategic-minded Real Estate Attorney to play a pivotal role in our continued expansion.

CONDITIONS

Location: Allen, Texas; Work hours may be flexible based on operational needs and employee availability

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: $120,000+ Dependent on Experience (DOE)

IN A NUTSHELL

This in-house Real Estate Attorney will be a key driver to MD7’s lease buyout initiative and broader real estate strategy. This role is responsible for managing a wide range of real estate matters. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

DAY-TO-DAY

  • Lease Negotiations and Buyouts: Leading negotiations for new leases, lease amendments, and lease buyouts.
  • Due Diligence: Conducting thorough due diligence reviews of real estate assets, including title searches and lease analysis.
  • Legal Counsel: Providing strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders, including lease consultants, on complex real estate issues.
  • Transactional Support: Assisting with the real estate aspects of acquisitions and other corporate transactions.

DO YOU BRING?

  • Active Texas bar license ( not required)
  • Strong legal acumen
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience in negotiating and documenting real estate transactions.
  • Recent real estate transactional experience, including leases, amendments, purchase and sale agreements, general contract, transactional and advisory work.
  • Experience in the legal department of a real estate company or for a law firm conducting real estate transactions
