Position Overview

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Healthcare Recruiter to join our team in Folsom. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our staffing success, specializing in the recruitment of high-quality dental and medical office professionals. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for critical roles including Dental Assistants (RDA/DA), Front Office Coordinators, and Back Office Dental Staff.

The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of the healthcare industry and possesses the "people skills" to identify top-tier talent that fits our culture and clinical standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and place candidates for various positions including Dental Assistants, Receptionists, and Office Managers.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Utilize job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter), social media, and local Folsom/Sacramento area networking to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Candidate Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for applicants, ensuring a professional and welcoming "first impression" of our organization.
  • Screening & Vetting: Conduct initial online interviews to verify technical skills, certifications (e.g., X-ray tech, CPR), and cultural fit.
  • Onboarding Support: Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and initial documentation for new hires to ensure a seamless transition into the team.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on local salary trends and hiring challenges within the Folsom dental and healthcare market.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in recruiting, specifically within the healthcare or dental sectors.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with dental terminology and specific roles (e.g., the difference between a Front Office Lead and a Treatment Coordinator).
  • Local Expertise: Strong understanding of the Folsom/Sacramento labor market.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you should be able to "sell" the opportunity to passive candidates.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Skills

  • Experience recruiting for private practices vs. large DSOs (Dental Support Organizations).
  • Knowledge of California dental board regulations and certification requirements.
  • A "hunter" mentality with a proven track record of meeting hiring quotas.
