Job Details

• Hourly Rate: $56/hr (Local) $52.50/HR (Non-local)
• Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days if over 50 miles from project
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay: Weekly
• Schedule: M-Sat | 0600 - 1600 | 60hrs/week

Project Scope

The construction safety manager will oversee safety for the structural steel contractor on a data center consturction project. Steel erection, rigging, is responsible for overall subcontractor safety program execution, management of subcontractor safety coordinators, case & Care management, safety administration, work coordination, high-risk activity planning and development, etc.

Qualifications

Must have:

• BCSP: CHST or CSP or GSP
• 5+ years of structural steel construction safety experience

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
• Monitor OSHA compliance
• Upload documentation into Procore
• Daily safety reports
• Track workforce safety compliance
• Maintain safety logs and compliance records
• Provide safety training as needed
• Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
• Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
• Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
• They expect the safety person to help shape the safety program.

Skills & KnowledgeSkills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• OSHA outreach training experience ()
• Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
