Job Details
- Hourly Rate: $59 (local) $52.50/hr (Non-local)
- Per Diem: $125/Day on seven days
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
- Schedule: 50-60hrs/week | Monday-Saturday | 0800-1700 | Possible Sundays depending on site needs
Project Scope
The construction safety manager will oversee the safety of the electrical contractor at a data center, focusing on low-hazard work to support site safety needs. This includes low-voltage electrical activities, testing and troubleshooting, auditing, and ladder work at the site.
Qualifications
Must have:
- BCSP Cert
- OSHA 30 Construction
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
- Monitor OSHA compliance
- Upload documentation into Procore
- Daily safety reports
- Track workforce safety compliance
- Maintain safety logs and compliance records
- Fall protection enforcement (CRITICAL priority)
- Provide safety training as needed
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocols
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required
- They expect the safety person to help shape the safety program.
Skills & KnowledgeSkills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience ()
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
