Their products are integral to operations in sectors such as Medical, Food & Beverage, Utilities, Defence, Oil & Gas, Data Centres, and general industry.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Sales Director, you will have full accountability for defining and delivering the commercial growth strategy across the UK and international markets, with a clear mandate to increase market share, profitability and brand presence in critical process industries. You will lead from the front – shaping strategy, spending time in front of key customers, and ensuring the sales organisation is equipped to win complex, high-value projects.\n\nKey responsibilities will include:\n\n * Developing and executing a multi-year sales strategy to support the company’s ambition to double in size, covering OEM, EPC, end-user and distribution channels across the UK, USA, Middle East and APAC.\n\n * Leading, coaching and structuring a high-performing sales team (field, internal and channel partners), setting clear objectives, KPIs and performance standards to consistently achieve order intake and revenue targets.\n\n * Owning the full sales management process – pipeline , forecasting, pricing and margin management – and providing accurate, data-driven reporting to the board and investors.\n\n * Building and deepening strategic relationships with key accounts in Medical, Food & Beverage, Defence, Oil & Gas, Data Centres and general industry, ensuring the business is specified early and remains supplier status.\n\n * Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including entering adjacent segments, new geographies and strategic partnerships that complement the existing valves, pumps, actuators and flow-control portfolio.\n\n * Working closely with engineering, operations and product management to align customer requirements with manufacturing capabilities, influence product roadmaps and ensure on-time, in-full project delivery.\n\n * Driving a customer-centric culture, ensuring best-in-class responsiveness, technical support and aftersales service that underpin long-term customer loyalty and recurring revenue.\n\n * Representing the business at industry events, trade shows and conferences, acting as a visible ambassador for the brand and staying close to market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies in flow control.\n\nThe Person\n\n * Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing.\n\n * Strong technical appreciation of valves, pumps, actuators, or other flow control products.\n\n * Commercially astute with a track record of driving international sales growth.\n\n * Confident communicator with the gravitas to inspire teams and engage at board level.\n\n * Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, change-oriented environments.\n\nThis is an exceptional opportunity for a proven sales leader ready to make a defining impact in a company poised for substantial expansion.\n\nTo Apply:\n\nPlease send your details to Chris Hickey at Mercury Hampton, we aim to respond to all applications within 5 working days
