Project Sales Manager – OEM HVAC / Data Centre Solutions\n\nSouth East England\n\nA highly technical engineering manufacturer operating within the HVAC, controls, and data centre sector is looking to appoint a Project Sales Manager to support continued growth across the South East region.\n\nThis is a consultative, engineering-led sales role focused on delivering technical solutions into OEMs, consultants, contractors, and specialist data centre customers. The business designs and delivers highly technical control and HVAC-related systems including controllers, humidification, valves, BMS integration, and bespoke engineered solutions used within critical environments.\n\nThis role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who understands the full project lifecycle from early-stage consultant engagement and specification through to tender, award, commissioning, and delivery.\n\nSales Managers duties:\n\n * Manage and develop relationships across consultants, OEMs, contractors, and data centre clients\n\n * Deliver consultative technical sales support across a highly engineered product range\n\n * Support projects from specification stage through to commissioning and handover\n\n * Deliver CPDs and technical presentations to consultants and customers\n\n * Manage territory pricing, margin protection, quotations, and project pipeline activity\n\n * Develop strong relationships across key accounts and strategic projects\n\nSales Managers requirements:\n\n * Background within HVAC, controls, BMS, cooling, refrigeration, or mechanical building services\n\n * Previous experience within OEM HVAC, critical cooling, data centres, or technical building services environments\n\n * Mechanically qualified (HNC/HND, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, Building Services or similar)\n\n * Strong understanding of technical project sales and specification-led environments\n\n * Able to engage confidently with consultants, engineers, contractors, and technical stakeholders\n\n * Commercially aware with strong attention to engineering detail\n\nLocation\n\nSouth East with access to the M25 corridor.\n\nIdeal locations include:\n\n * Surrey\n\n * Kent\n\n * South East London\n\n * Guildford\n\n * Cambridge corridor\n\n * Central London\n\n * Bristol corridor\n\nThe role is hybrid with approximately one office day per week.\n\nSales Managers Package\n\n * £70,000 – £75,000 basic salary DOE\n\n * Bonus structure (£10k–£15k potential)\n\n * Electric company car\n\n * Technical progression within a growing data centre-focused business\n\n * Long-term career development within a highly specialised engineering environment
