Scheduling and Resource Manager
ICON Electric
Location: Phoenix, AZ (or regional office; some field interaction required)
Compensation: $90,000–$105,000 base salary
About the Role
ICON Electric is hiring a Scheduling / Resource Manager to own workforce planning and project resource coordination across a diverse portfolio of electrical construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring the right people are on the right jobs at the right time—supporting execution, profitability, and customer commitments as ICON continues to grow.
Projects range from small service work to large-scale, complex builds, including manufacturing facilities, higher education campuses, data centers, and hospitals. This is a highly cross-functional role that partners closely with Operations, Project Managers, Field Leadership, and Estimating.
What You'll Do

Develop and maintain short- and long-term manpower schedules across all active and upcoming projects

Coordinate labor allocation for projects of all sizes and complexities

Balance workforce demand against availability, skill sets, certifications, and project priorities

Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to forecast labor needs and adjust schedules proactively

Identify upcoming resource constraints and recommend solutions (reassignments, hiring needs, overtime planning, etc.)

Support preconstruction and project start-up planning by validating manpower assumptions

Track schedule changes, field progress, and labor shifts in real time

Serve as a central point of coordination between field operations and leadership

Maintain scheduling tools, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making

Continuously improve scheduling processes as ICON scales
What You'll Bring

5+ years of construction experience, with a strong background in scheduling, resource planning, or operations coordination

Experience in electrical, MEP, or trade-based construction environments strongly

Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects

Strong understanding of construction workflows, field operations, and labor utilization

High attention to detail with the ability to think strategically and anticipate issues

Strong communication skills and confidence working with field leaders and project teams

Proficiency with scheduling tools, spreadsheets, and construction management software

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing organization where processes are evolving
