Senior Civil Technician\n\nLocation: London\n Salary: £45,000 - £58,000 (DOE)\n Type: Full-Time | Permanent\n\nSenior Civil Technician - London\n\nAn established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Technician to join its growing London infrastructure team. \nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, coordinating with engineers and wider design teams, and playing a key role in the delivery of complex development and infrastructure schemes. \nThe business delivers projects across residential, mixed-use, commercial, office, education, transport infrastructure and major regeneration sectors, with involvement in some of London's most significant developments.
Recent project experience includes large-scale mixed-use regeneration, high-density residential schemes, major commercial developments, public realm improvements and complex urban infrastructure projects across the capital.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality Civil 3D models and technical drawing packages across a broad range of development infrastructure projects. \nWorking closely with engineers, project leads and multidisciplinary design teams, you will support projects from early planning stages through to detailed design and construction delivery. Typical work will include highways design, drainage infrastructure, site levels, earthworks, utility coordination and wider civil infrastructure associated with major developments.
\nThe role offers exposure to a diverse workload ranging from residential-led masterplans and mixed-use developments to commercial schemes, urban regeneration projects and the growing data centre sector. You will also have the opportunity to support the ongoing development of CAD and BIM standards while assisting in the mentoring and development of junior technicians.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nStrong experience working as a Civil Technician within a civil engineering consultancy environment.\nExcellent working knowledge of Civil 3D, which is considered essential for the role.\nExperience producing technical drawings and models for highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects.\nUnderstanding of site levels, earthworks, utility coordination and external works design.\nExperience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to technical quality.\nAbility to support and mentor junior technicians where required.\nProficiency with AutoCAD.\nExperience with Revit and Navisworks would be beneficial but is not essential.\nUnderstanding of BIM processes and project coordination would be advantageous.\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis is an opportunity to join a highly respected consultancy with a strong presence in London and the backing of a major international engineering group with thousands of engineers worldwide.
