Job Title: Senior Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: Salt Lake City, UT (In-Office)

Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus

Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

Mammoth Recruitment is partnering with a well-established commercial roofing contractor in Salt Lake City to hire a Senior Project Manager. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, not just another PM seat.

The company has strong operational infrastructure and experienced field leadership already in place. What they need now is a senior PM who can run projects at a high level, develop a junior PM, and help drive growth into larger new construction work including data centers and complex commercial builds.

They are open to candidates coming from commercial roofing or general contracting backgrounds. If you have managed large, complex commercial projects at scale, we want to talk to you.

What You Will Own

  • Full project management responsibility for a portfolio of 3 to 5 active projects
  • Budgets, schedules, cost control, change orders, and margin protection on every job
  • Client relationships and stakeholder communication from preconstruction through closeout
  • Quality control and safety compliance across all active projects
  • Mentorship and development of a junior PM
  • Supporting new construction business development as the company grows

What You Will Be Doing Day to Day

  • Manage commercial roofing projects across reroof and new construction scopes
  • Coordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and GCs
  • Own project financials including job costing, change orders, and margin tracking
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Enforce quality standards and safety protocols on all active sites
  • Support growth into larger new construction and data center work
  • Partner with operations leadership to improve systems, processes, and project flow

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing or general contracting
  • Background in commercial roofing or GC work welcome, what matters is large-scale project management experience on data centers, retail, or industrial builds
  • Strong background across reroof and new construction scopes
  • Proven financial ownership including budgets, cost control, and margin protection
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing detail
  • Strong communicator who can work alongside experienced field leadership
  • Self-directed with a high ownership mindset
  • Comfortable stepping into a leadership role within a growing organization
