Job DescriptionDesign roles do not come much better than this!!!  Our client, a top-tier Main Contractor delivering high-profile Data Centre projects, is looking to appoint a Senior Design Manager to lead CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) design from preconstruction through to delivery.\n

Senior Design Manager roles & responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Leading CSA design management on one live project at a time, from preconstruction through to delivery

\n

• Coordinating designers, subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure design information supports programme and buildability

\n

• A hybrid working pattern: typically 3 days working from home, 2 days on site

\n

• Working within a well-resourced project team on a major, live construction scheme

\n

Senior Design Manager experience required: \n
\n

\n
• Previous Data Centre build project experience is essential — this is a non-negotiable requirement

\n

• A strong Design Management background covering both preconstruction and delivery stages, ideally CSA-focused

\n

• Main contractor background

\n

• Comfortable managing design risk, coordination and stakeholder input across a live, fast-paced projectS

\n

Senior Design Manager remuneration:\n
\n

\n
• £95,000 – £110,000 + full package

\n

• Hybrid working — flexibility to balance home and site

\n

• The opportunity to lead design on some of the most significant Data Centre projects in the UK, for a business genuinely on the front foot in this sector
