The Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of complex projects. You will own project outcomes, collaborate across disciplines, mentor junior staff, and directly contribute to the growth and technical excellence of our company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading all aspects of electrical system design (Generator, UPS, power distribution, lighting, grounding, low voltage, etc).
  • Ensuring deliverables meet project specifications, budgets, schedules, and code compliance (NEC, IEEE, IEC, etc.).
  • Managing coordination with clients, architects, other engineers, and construction teams.
  • Innovating solutions to improve energy efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance project delivery.
  • Mentoring and training junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • Deliver accurate, code-compliant designs on time with minimal rework.
  • Develop trusted client relationships and become a technical lead within the first 6–12 months.
  • Proactively solve complex challenges with creativity, precision, and clarity.
  • Elevate internal standards by sharing expertise, improving processes, and mentoring others.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) (Required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).
  • 7+ years of electrical design experience across a range of building types or mission-critical facilities.
  • Expertise in NEC, IEEE, and other applicable codes.
  • Proficiency with design and modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, SKM, ETAP, or similar).
  • Strong client communication skills — ability to translate technical details into actionable client conversations.
  • Proven experience leading project scopes independently.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with data centers, healthcare facilities, or industrial buildings.
  • Construction administration experience (RFIs, submittal reviews, field inspections).
  • LEED accreditation or strong knowledge of sustainable design principles.
