A well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work is looking to bring in a Senior Estimator to support ongoing growth within their pre-construction team. This role will be based within the Pre-Construction team in the UK, supporting the preparation of tenders and cost plans for complex data centre and industrial construction projects

You will play a key role within the pre-construction function, working closely with design teams, project leadership and the supply chain to develop competitive and technically accurate tender submissions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale technical projects while developing your career within a contractor delivering some of the most advanced engineering and construction developments across the UK and Europe.

Your role as a Senior Estimator will include:

Taking ownership of tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission
Site visits to identify site specific risks
Risk management throughout the tender period and preparation of the tender Risk Register
Producing detailed estimates across building packages and full project scope
Working alongside design, commercial and delivery teams during pre-construction
Contributing to value engineering and build strategy decisions
As a Senior Estimator, you will need:

Proven experience in an Estimating role
Track record pricing projects within a design and build environment
Experience in industrial, pharma, logistics or similar sectors
The ability to read and understand drawings and specifications, process design and contracts
Commutable to Gerrards Cross 5x a week
