Senior Estimator required in London\n\nGVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable and very well-established Contractor, based in London, who have entered the market for an Estimator / Senior Estimator to join their pre-construction team.\n\nAs a contractor they work within the structural refurbishment and fit out industry in the Aviation, Commercial and Data Centre sectors.\n\nSalary: £60K - £85K + package\n\nResponsibilities of the Estimator / Senior Estimator:\n\n * Working closely with the pre-construction Director, Commercial Director and Preconstruction Director\n\n * Oversee all tender and bid activity including pricing, preparation and submission, ensuring accuracy and quality, from initial enquiry and take-offs\n\n * Provide detailed breakdowns of tenders to directors and clients\n\n * Analysis of risk and opportunity\n\n * Obtain best value sub-contract and supplier prices in order to maximise value for money within secured works\n\n * Procurement of sub-contract works including documentation and compliance\n\n * Attend regular tender review meetings\n\n * Effective communication with clients, suppliers, external consultants and colleagues through to senior management.\n\n * Currently they use Excel but have a self-built system within so it is very efficient\n\n * They are looking at getting Bluebeam for Take-offs\n\nThe Estimator / Senior Estimator must have/be:\n\n * 5 – 10 years previous Estimating experience working within either a sub-contracting or main contracting environment.\n\n * A team player\n\n * Previous experience as an Estimator\n\n * Experience working on structural refurbishment contracts\n\nIf you are interested in the above Estimator / Senior Estimator role, then please get in touch
