Role Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier-1 M&E Contractor renowned for delivering high-profile projects across Commercial Shell & Core, Office Fit-Outs, Life-Sciences, Data Centre, Infrastructure sectors. As a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the financial performance and commercial success of complex projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the commercial management of M&E packages on high-value projects
*
Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and cash flow
*
Administer contracts including valuations, variations and change control
*
Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages
*
Prepare and present monthly cost and value reports
*
Measure and value works completed and assess subcontractor applications
*
Lead final account negotiations with clients and supply chain
*
Identify and manage commercial risk and opportunity
*
Maintain effective commercial relationships with clients, consultants and internal teams
*
Support and mentor junior commercial staff as required
Qualifications & Experience
* HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in M&E Quantity Surveying, ideally with Tier-1 M&E contractors.
* Strong understanding of M&E systems, cost control, and standard contracts (JCT/NEC).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Salary & Package
* Competitive salary: £85,000 - £105,000 (depending on experience).
