The Role
This is a senior, field-based outside sales role focused on selling technically differentiated electrical power solutions to industrial and infrastructure customers. The role is highly consultative and relationship-driven, centered on understanding customer challenges and aligning them with engineered products and services.
You’ll manage and grow a defined territory, balancing new business development with the expansion of existing accounts. Supported by internal engineering, service, and operational teams, you’ll guide customers through complex purchasing decisions across long sales cycles.
This role is ideal for a true hunter–farmer who enjoys being in front of customers, navigating technical conversations, and building durable, long-term relationships.
What You’ll Be Selling
Electrical Products
• Low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, and switchboards
• Motor control centers, transformers, and power switching systems
• Life-extension solutions for aging and legacy electrical equipment
• Engineered and specialty solutions, including:
– Remote racking and arc-flash mitigation technologies
– Electrical testing equipment
– Vacuum interrupter replacement and testing solutions
Services
• Circuit breaker repair, testing, and maintenance
• Electrical engineering and system design support
• Emergency response and outage support services
Key Responsibilities
• Own and grow a defined geographic territory
• Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
• Prospect and develop new accounts and opportunities
• Sell into core verticals including:
– Industrial and manufacturing facilities
– Utilities and power providers
– Data centers and critical infrastructure
– Power (traditional, wind, and solar)
– Electrical contractors and engineering firms
• Partner with inside sales, engineering, and product specialists to scope and deliver solutions
• Identify customer challenges and position differentiated technical solutions
• Deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction
• Serve as the voice of the customer internally
What We’re Looking For
• Proven success in outside sales within electrical power, industrial, or utility-related markets
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and sell engineered solutions
• Experience managing long, consultative sales cycles
• Highly self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
• Comfortable traveling within an assigned territory
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
