Senior Planner – Data Centre Project | East London

Fourblue are recruiting for a Senior Planner to join a leading engineering services contractor on a major data centre project in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, mission-critical scheme within one of the fastest-growing construction sectors.

Our client is a long-established engineering contractor delivering complex projects across mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and specialist engineering disciplines. They are known for high-quality delivery, long-term career development, and investment in their people.

The role:

You will be site-based and responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on detailed construction programmes for a large-scale data centre build, working closely with construction and client teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed, fully resource-loaded construction schedules
• Managing programme updates, KPIs, earned value, and progress reporting
• Tracking planned vs actual progress, productivity, and budgets
• Supporting change control and monitoring scope growth
• Producing weekly construction reports and look-ahead programmes
• Attending site and client meetings and supporting delivery teams

About you:

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• 3–5+ years’ post-qualification experience, ideally within an M&E contracting environment
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Experience on complex construction projects (data centre or mission-critical experience advantageous)
• Comfortable working in a site-based role
• Right to work in the UK
