The Opportunity
The Senior Product Manager will be a cornerstone of Faith Technologies' continued transformation into a leader in productized electrical distribution solutions. This individual will own the full strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of the busway/switchboard product category within FTI's Excellerate division – driving growth and profitability through market expertise, disciplined product development, and relentless customer focus.
This is a senior-level seat on the Product Management team, and the individual who fills it will bring not only proven product leadership experience, but the strategic vision and business acumen to help define the category's direction for years to come. They will collaborate deeply with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Product Marketing – playing a meaningful role in mentoring and elevating product management talent as the team scales. This individual will report directly to the Director of Product Management.
- Growth: Switchboards represent one of the furthest-along product lines within the Excellerate portfolio, making this an opportunity to step into a role with real momentum behind it. The Senior PM will have direct impact on accelerating the product's journey from Engineered-to-Order (ETO) toward a scalable Configured-to-Order (CTO) model – a transformation with significant upside.
- Impact: This role sits at the center of Faith's long-term vision to vertically integrate its Excellerate product portfolio. Switchboards will ultimately connect with busway and battery energy storage systems to offer a complete, turnkey power solution for data centers and industrial customers. The Senior PM will be instrumental in turning that vision into a reality.

What the Role Entails
60-Day Performance Objectives
- Deeply immerse yourself in FTI's Product Development Process (PDP) and stage-gate methodology, understanding how the switchboard/busway product lines have progressed to date and where they stand in the development lifecycle.
- Build strong, trust-based working relationships with Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Service, and key leadership stakeholders.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the switchboard/busway product portfolios – including current product capabilities, competitive positioning, pricing/margins, and existing VOC data.
- Identify the highest-leverage near-term opportunities to advance the product from Engineered-to-Order (ETO) toward a Configured-to-Order (CTO) model.
- Begin participating in customer interactions, tradeshow planning, and internal product reviews to establish credibility and context quickly.
90-Day Performance Objectives
- Assume full ownership of the switchboard/busway product roadmaps, actively leading cross-functional alignment and driving stage-gate progression with Engineering.
- Develop or significantly advance Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that clearly define product features, use cases, and specifications for the switchboard/busway categories.
- Partner with Product Marketing to sharpen positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for current and upcoming switchboard/busway offerings.
- Present an initial strategic view of the switchboard/busway categories to leadership – including roadmap priorities, identified market opportunities, and key dependencies.
- Establish early KPI baselines for product performance, margin, and sales velocity to create a foundation for ongoing measurement and accountability.
365-Day Performance Objectives
- Serve as the undisputed internal and external champion for the switchboard/busway product categories, owning their P&L performance, roadmap direction, and go-to-market execution.
- Drive measurable progress on the ETO-to-CTO transition, with defined milestones, standardized configurations, and repeatable manufacturing processes that improve margins and reduce lead times.
- Lead the delivery of at least one major product launch or significant roadmap milestone, with full cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Build out robust product documentation, pricing models, sales enablement tools, and training materials that equip the sales organization to sell confidently and effectively.
- Begin contributing to the broader Excellerate integration vision – identifying how switchboards connect with busway and BESS to form a complete power distribution solution for data center customers.
- Support the mentorship and development of junior product management talent as the team continues to grow.
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or a closely related technical discipline involving manufactured, physical products.
- Direct, hands-on experience with switchboards, busways, electrical distribution equipment, or closely adjacent products in commercial or industrial power applications.
- Demonstrated success owning the full product lifecycle from concept and market research through stage-gate development, launch, cost optimization, and end-of-life planning.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams – including Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing – to achieve product objectives in a matrixed environment.
- Strong familiarity with stage-gate product development processes and structured PDP methodologies.
- Exceptional ability to speak, read, write, and interpret technical information – bridging deep engineering detail with commercial strategy and customer communication.
- Track record of strategic thinking: owning a product roadmap, defining category-level strategy, and influencing senior leadership with data-driven recommendations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience leading products through an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) to Configured-to-Order (CTO) transformation.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure, EV charging, or adjacent energy distribution markets.
- Background in technical sales or sales engineering with direct customer-facing experience including tradeshows and consultative selling environments.
- Experience with product P&L ownership, pricing strategy development, and margin improvement initiatives.
- Prior experience mentoring or managing product management professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or Marketing; advanced degree or MBA highly .
