Senior Project Manager
Job Description
I am working with a client, Looking for a travelling Project manager and Senior Project manager to work on an upcoming Data Center Project in Central TX.

Location: Central Texas
\n
Travel: 3 weeks on-site, 1 full week off work, travel paid home once a month.
\n
Per diem: $5500 monthly [tax free] + free accommodation and meals on-site
\n
PTO: 4 weeks PTO
\n
Base: up to $200K
\n
Bonus: 20%+ annually
\n
401K: 5% matching
\n
Insurance: M/D/V coverage for family
\n
Experience: 5+ years' experience in large-scale electrical construction, preferably data centers but open to candidates with experience across large-scale commercial, journeyman license but not required.
\n
Company: 50+ years in business, 7–10-year data center backlog in TX, one of the largest self-performing electrical companies in Texas.

Day-to-Day:

- Provide direct oversight and leadership to assigned Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams
- Define clear project goals and deliverables; develop comprehensive project documentation and execution plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client throughout the project life cycle, ensuring alignment with client expectations and timely communication
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support project progress and foster future opportunities
- Manage construction activities by coordinating administrative and field operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues; initiate corrective measures for any risks or deviations from plan
- Represent the company in project-related meetings, including strategic planning and client-facing discussions
- Oversee and manage the financial aspects of each project, including contract terms, invoicing, equipment rentals, and cost controls to safeguard company interests
- Supervise Project Managers as needed, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight

What to Bring to the table:

- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction, design, project management, or related disciplines
- Proven experience managing and leading teams; prior supervisory or people management experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to optimize team performance and project outcomes
- Strong understanding of industry practices, corporate processes, standards, and their impact on project execution
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information professionally and effectively
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and business urgency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of summarizing and interpreting complex data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to create, edit, and analyze a wide range of documentation, including project reports, quotes, invoices, and work orders
