Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Construction (Germany)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale construction projects across Germany. The successful candidate will join a leading contractor specialising in high-value data centre developments, civil infrastructure, and mission-critical facilities.
You will oversee project delivery from pre-construction to handover, ensuring milestones are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive project milestones across multi-million-euro construction programmes.
- Lead site operations, sequencing, and risk analysis.
- Oversee costing, subcontractor evaluation, and contract management.
- Conduct design coordination with architects, engineers, and client representatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with QA/QC and Health & Safety regulations.
- Lead project meetings with stakeholders, clients, and site teams.
- Prepare scope of works (SOW) for multiple construction packages.
- Solve technical and design-related challenges on complex projects.
- Manage and mentor multi-disciplinary site teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline (MSc ).
- Proven track record as Project Manager / Senior Construction Manager on data centres, large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects (€30M+).
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete frames, steel structures, roofing, cladding, curtain walling, and MEP integration.
- Experience in planning, progress reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Microsoft Office; knowledge of Leica Robotic iCON an advantage.
- Certifications in H&S, QA/QC, crane operations, or temporary works desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- English (professional level); German skills a plus.
