Principal Mechanical Engineer – Data Centres
Location: Hybrid if close to offices throughout the UK or Remote
Salary: £65,000–£80,000 + benefits depending on experience
We’re partnered with a consultancy that’s continuing to grow its mission-critical division and is looking to bring in Principal level Mechanical Engineers to help lead project delivery.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll lead the delivery of mechanical design across mission-critical projects, coordinating design packages, supporting project delivery, and acting as a key technical point of contact internally and externally.
The role also includes mentoring junior engineers and supporting technical development within the team.
Key requirements
Strong background within mechanical building services design
Previous Data Centre or mission-critical experience is essential
Experience leading projects or key design packages
Strong understanding of UK and/or international standards
Comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams
Experience using relevant design software including Revit and IES
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Chartered or working towards Chartership preferredWhat’s on offer
