We're working with a well-established construction consultancy based in Glasgow to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. You'll be joining a consultancy with a varied and interesting project portfolio spanning industrial, education, data centres, and student accommodation — giving you real breadth in your day-to-day work.

Responsibilties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor

\n\n

\n\t
• Leading cost management across projects from inception through to completion

\n\t

• Preparing and agreeing contract sums, valuations and final accounts

\n\t

• Providing procurement advice and managing tender processes

\n\t

• Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and design teams

\n\t

• Mentoring junior members of the team and sharing your expertise

\n\t

• Identifying and managing commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle

\n

\n\n

What our client is looking for

\n\n

\n\t
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

\n\t

• MRICS qualified (or working towards it) — either is welcome

\n\t

• Strong experience in a consultancy or client-side QS environment

\n\t

• Comfortable managing your own workload and client relationships

\n\t

• A collaborative, can-do attitude that fits well in a close-knit team

\n
