I am currently partnering with a confidential, internationally recognised construction group to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of complex, high-value building projects across the UK.\nThis organisation is a family-owned European market leader with over 6,000 employees worldwide and annual revenues in excess of €1bn. With operations spanning more than 20 countries and a portfolio of specialist subsidiaries, the group delivers full-service solutions across interior fit-out, building envelope systems, technical insulation and highly engineered construction environments.\nTheir project portfolio includes:\n \nMajor commercial office developments \nHealthcare and hospital facilities \nAirports and transport hubs \nData centres and cleanrooms \nIndustrial and power facilities \nEducation and institutional buildings The business is recognised for its in-house manufacturing capability, technical innovation and ability to deliver complex, design-led and specialist packages on landmark schemes.  \n ABOUT THE ROLE  \n The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of significant packages or projects from pre-construction through to final account.

You will work closely with project leadership teams, supply chain partners and senior stakeholders to ensure commercial performance and risk management across the lifecycle of schemes.\nKey responsibilities will include:\n \nFull commercial management of projects and/or major work packages \nCost planning, procurement and subcontract management \nContract administration (NEC / JCT experience advantageous) \nVariations, valuations, change control and final accounts \nFinancial reporting and forecasting \nRisk and value engineering management \nSupporting and mentoring junior commercial staff  \n REQUIREMENTS  \n The Candidate We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with:\n \nProven track record delivering large-scale construction or specialist fit-out projects \nExperience within commercial, healthcare, aviation, industrial or complex technical environments \nStrong contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT) \nExcellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills \nDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (MRICS desirable but not essential) Experience working within a specialist subcontractor or design-and-build environment would be highly advantageous
