Senior Solicitor - IP and Technology

Job Description

We are working with a tier-one international firm looking for a Solicitor to join their Intellectual Property team based within their London office.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an innovative and established team, working on a diverse range of challenging IP and technology-focused issues. The candidate’s duties will include advising on licensing, collaboration, digital transformation, and digital infrastructure matters within commercial transactions.

The candidate will play a key role in advising a variety of both international and domestic clients, including life sciences businesses, financial institutions, and telecom operators. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to business development while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 4+ PQE;
• Strong background in commercial law and transactions within a large international or City firm. Previous experience in telecoms and digital infrastructure highly advantageous;
• Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
