Solutions Provider | Regional Pre-Sales Architecture

A well-established, multi-billion-dollar technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect focused on Modern Data Center, Hybrid Infrastructure, and next- AI-ready architectures based in the Atlanta market.

This is a regional lead-level role centered on infrastructure modernization - including compute, storage, virtualization, HCI, resiliency, hybrid cloud integration, and emerging AI/HPC infrastructure use cases.

While public cloud remains part of the conversation, the primary focus is modernizing core data center environments and preparing enterprise clients for high-performance, GPU-enabled, and AI-driven workloads as those initiatives continue to gain traction across the Southeast.

This is a client-facing pre-sales architecture role supporting strategic commercial and enterprise pursuits across the Atlanta market. You will work alongside regional Account Managers to drive technical strategy, lead discovery sessions, and architect scalable infrastructure solutions aligned to evolving business objectives.

HIGHLIGHTS

Atlanta Market Ownership

Serve as the primary Modern Data Center architect supporting strategic enterprise pursuits across the Atlanta and broader Southeast market.

OEM-Aligned Platform

Strong partnerships and field alignment across key vendors including Dell Technologies, HPE, Cisco, Nutanix, Pure Storage, VMware, and related ecosystem partners - with growing focus around GPU-enabled platforms and high-performance storage architectures.

Infrastructure-First Sales Motion

Drive architecture conversations around compute, storage, HCI, virtualization, hybrid integration, and AI-ready infrastructure - positioned around performance, resiliency, scalability, and modernization.

ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES

-Leading pre-sales architecture across:

• Modern Data Center infrastructure (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS, etc.)
• Enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, Dell, HPE)
• Hyperconverged Infrastructure (Nutanix, VxRail, SimpliVity)
• Virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Hybrid cloud integration (AWS, Azure)
• Automation and orchestration initiatives
• Exposure to AI / ML infrastructure considerations including GPU-based compute, high-throughput storage, and performance-optimized network design (where applicable)

-Running discovery sessions and whiteboard workshops with IT leadership

-Designing scalable, resilient architectures aligned to business objectives, including environments supporting data-intensive and performance-sensitive workloads

-Building scopes of work, bills of materials, and technical documentation

-Partnering with internal engineering teams and OEM field resources on strategic pursuits

-Supporting regional client and partner-facing engagements

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE SOUGHT

• 7–10+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or infrastructure consulting
• Experience architecting solutions aligned with major OEM ecosystems (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Nutanix, Pure, VMware)
• Strong background in virtualization, storage, HCI, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with GPU-enabled infrastructure, high-performance storage, or AI/ML workload requirements is a plus but not required
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure in hybrid use cases
• Relevant certifications but not required
• Strong client-facing presence with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Comfortable operating with regional ownership and autonomy
