POSITION SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

University Health is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator with deep PeopleSoft expertise to support and enhance mission-critical financial, clinical, and administrative systems within a large, complex healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional who enjoys system ownership, problem-solving, and partnering with business and clinical leaders to keep enterprise systems running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

\n\n

    \n\t
  • Serve as a senior technical resource for PeopleSoft and ERP-based systems
  • \n\t

  • Provide system administration, analysis, configuration, and ongoing support for production and non-production environments
  • \n\t

  • Lead and support system upgrades, patches, fixes, and enhancements
  • \n\t

  • Perform systems analysis, testing, and post-implementation reviews
  • \n\t

  • Troubleshoot complex system and integration issues across platforms
  • \n\t

  • Support databases, interfaces, data extraction, reporting, and backups
  • \n\t

  • Collaborate with IS leadership, vendors, and internal customers on projects and issue resolution
  • \n\t

  • Participate in change control, standards development, and system documentation
  • \n\t

  • Provide on-call support for assigned enterprise systems
  • \n

Required Experience & Skills

\n\n

    \n\t
  • Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft (required) to include supporting Human Resources and Payroll functionality
  • \n\t

  • 6+ years of systems administration, programming, or system analysis experience
  • \n\t

  • Experience supporting ERP or large enterprise application environments
  • \n\t

  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting (API, SQL, Visual Basic, ASP/Web, C++, Dell Boomi, or similar)
  • \n\t

  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • \n\t

  • Experience supporting application related hardware such as time clocks, tablets, or similar
  • \n\t

  • Experience supporting Windows and/or UNIX operating systems
  • \n\t

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • \n\t

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
  • \n

  • Healthcare systems or regulated environments
  • \n\t

  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as UKG, Premier, OnBase, ServiceNow, or similar
  • \n\t

  • Report writing and data extraction tools (SQL, Business Objects)
  • \n

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE
\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, data processing, mathematical, clinical or a related field is required. Work experience may be substituted for college requirement. Six years of programming and system analysis experience is required. Must be proficient in at least one computer system and on data management methodology on at least one or more of the computer platforms used at University Health. requirements may vary based on current needs. Working experience required, using one or more of each of the following: Applications: PeopleSoft, Lawson or any ERP system, IDX, Softmed, 3m, Onbase, Portal, Cerner Lab, Cerner Pharmacy, RIS, Eclipsys, Quavodex ,MS Office, Crystal, HIM, TCP/IP, FTP : ASP/ Web development, Business Objects, Crystal, Visual Basic, SQL, C++, Mumps Databases: Microsoft SQL, Sybase, Oracle Operating Systems: Windows 2003, Windows Data Center, XP, UNIX, Cache
