About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Technical Program Manager to lead our optical interconnect project in Credo Ottawa. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary R&D teams and develop detailed Gantt charts to guide the project from initial technical path development through down-selection to high-volume production. This role involves aligning priorities across teams, managing timelines and deliverables, cultivating internal and external partnerships, and assessing risk profiles at both the component and system levels to drive a clear and actionable execution plan.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with internal and external teams (including optics high-speed electronics, firmware, packaging, and system validation) on understanding the technical specifications and deliverables and developing execution GANT chart.
  • Drive structured program execution (milestones, risk management, action items tracking, dependency mapping) and communicate program status, risks, escalations, resource needs, and decision points to leadership in a clear, data-driven way
  • Lead weekly project standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, status reviews, structured documentation for project requirements, version control, change control, and progress tracking.
  • Cultivate relationship internally and externally that enable anticipation of possible problems before they become crisis and at a time well within the window for development of an alternative lower risk path.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, leading optical component/system projects from R&D to high-volume production.
  • Proven track record of driving execution across multi-disciplinary engineering teams, minimizing program risks, and delivering products on time and within budget.
  • Strong familiarity with optical communications, photonics, semiconductors, or high-speed hardware systems.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in technical field.
  • Experience leading NPI development of optical/LED/Laser products.
