About the Role
As a Site Manager in a cryptocurrency mining operation, your primary responsibilities will be to:
· Manage a cross-functional team and all aspects of operations throughout a large-scale data center including, but not limited to, recruiting, supervising, delegating, investigating, correcting, evaluating, training, and mentoring.
· Maintain oversite of all vendors and contractors working onsite.
- Maintain operational compliance with OSHA, state, local, and federal safety requirements.
· Ensure work is performed within established policies, procedures, and standards while reviewing and implementing standard operating procedure updates.
· Collaborate in the development of policies and personnel initiatives.
· Drive operational efficiency to improve automation, reduce incidents causing downtime, improve network performance, and enhance company resiliency and excellence.
· Devise new techniques to expedite workflow, improve productivity, and improve operating environments.
· Develop and maintain positive long-term productive working relationships with internal and external vendors and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with senior management in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs following manufacturers’ recommendations and current industry practices; ensuring timeframes, safety, and quality expectations are met.
· Lead maintenance projects with onsite personnel or duly delegated contractors.
· Suggest, plan, and oversee equipment needs and acquisition.
· Review and approve schedules and daily coordination of assignments for staff.
· Train Atlas Power staff on effective and efficient repairs on cryptomining equipment to maintain uptime of entire site.

Required Education and experience
· 1 year working in crypto focused data centers.
· 2 years of experience in supervision or management with at least five (5) direct and indirect reports.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Outlook/sharepoint/teams)
· Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Atlas Power reserves the right to utilize training assignments on a case-by-case basis and at its sole discretion.
· Understanding of Computer Hardware Maintenance
· Experience in Inventory maintenance and tracking
· Knowledge of a variety of Cryptocurrency mining technologies including deployment, support, and maintenance
- Basic understanding of networking topology/diagnostics
· Basic understanding of commercial electrical infrastructure
· Telehandler, manlift, and scissor lift experience.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
· Must be able to work in varying and extreme weather conditions and in non-temperature regulated spaces.
· Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
· Must be able to navigate over uneven terrain; up and down ladders; in scissor lifts; and while using other industrial style equipment.
· Must be able to squat, crawl, bend, and sit for long periods of time.
· Must be able to work around high voltage/wattage power sources on a regular basis while following and enforcing safety and procedural expectations.
