Site Services Installation Technician – Traveler Role

Location: Within a 30-mile radius of Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport (DFW – ZIP 75261) or Phoenix, AZ (ZIP 85034 area)

We are searching for an experienced Traveling Installer based near Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Phoenix, Arizona to join our team at Subzero Engineering. This role requires frequent travel to active construction sites nationwide to install Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems in mission-critical data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to construction sites across the U.S. to install Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems in data centers.
• Maintain valid travel identification and travel frequently.
• Professionally represent Subzero Engineering on job sites.
• Submit travel expense reports accurately and on time.
• Perform hands-on construction tasks (measuring, drilling, cutting, assembling).
• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot installation issues with the Installation Lead.
• Follow site safety regulations and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Complete OSHA 10- & 30-hour training (company-provided).

Requirements

• Data center installation experience strongly , particularly with containment systems, rack systems, or other data center infrastructure.
• Construction experience ; hands-on mechanical, assembly, installation, or general labor experience also accepted.
• High school diploma .
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Physically capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, crawling, twisting, reaching, and working in confined spaces.
• Able to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Must reside within 30 miles of DFW Airport (ZIP 75261) or Phoenix, AZ (ZIP 85034) — these serve as dispatch points for travel assignments.
