Job Title: IT Network Engineer III
Location: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite). Preference for candidates within 1 hour of Charlotte, NC or Corning, NY.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. OT possible. Flexibility may be required due to work with global teams.
Duration: Anticipated 12-month assignment with possibility of extension based on demand.
Citizenship & Compliance: DOD/ITAR facility. Candidates must be compliant with ITAR requirements and be U.S. or .
Travel Requirement: Potential travel up to 30%, including international destinations. May increase during critical projects.
Scope of PositionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize innovative network solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in cross-functional teams, and a commitment to operational excellence in a dynamic global environment.
Key Responsibilities

Network Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement advanced routing/switching solutions using Arista, Cisco, and MIST platforms, employing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Routing & Switching Expertise: Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize BGP, OSPF, and enterprise switching technologies.

Wireless Network Engineering: Architect and manage wireless infrastructure with a focus on MIST-based solutions.

Network Automation & Scripting: Develop automation workflows using Ansible, Python, Terraform, and RESTful APIs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams to align network strategies with business goals.

Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain network designs, configurations, and SOPs in line with industry standards.

Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve network performance and security.

Operational Support: Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support.
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (minimum).

Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer.

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Arista ACE L5, or equivalent highly .

Arista and MIST certifications are a strong plus.

Deep understanding of enterprise network technologies, including LAN and SD-WAN.

Advanced proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and switching technologies.

Extensive knowledge of Cisco/Arista platforms, including configuration and optimization.

Strong expertise in designing and managing wireless networks.

Advanced skills in network automation using Ansible, Python, and RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Desired Skills

Hands-on experience with MIST wireless solutions (design, deployment, optimization).

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.

Proficiency with Arista in data center and campus environments.

Financial acumen for budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations.

Manufacturing industry experience .
Interview Process

2 rounds of 45-minute video interviews.

First round with direct manager and Architect.
