***In office position with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after a probationary period.

Function:

Design, install, administer, and optimize servers and related components to achieve high performance of various business applications. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.

Position Requirements:

GENERAL:

  • Onsite with remote flexibility
  • On-call response to resolve unexpected system issues affecting customer services
  • Occasional local travel to support branch technology operations
  • Occasional travel for technical conferences

EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3) years of technical services-related experience
  • Demonstrated work-related experience may be considered instead of education requirements

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degree
  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Duties:

System Administrator I

  • Manage the information systems infrastructure supporting business applications including client/server-related hardware, virtualization, cloud technology, software, networking, etc.
  • Maintain the data center/server room security features including HVAC control, environmental alarms, access restrictions, fire suppression, etc.
  • Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports
  • Prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate; serve as an escalation for issues; provide timely response to customer escalations
  • Provision physical and virtual servers, physical endpoint computers, and end user services and applications
  • Maintain asset management for information systems including network appliances, hardware, peripherals, and software inventory
  • Manage the monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all systems, including servers, end-user workstations, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Attend seminars, conferences, and virtual trainings to stay current with technological innovations
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials and server/business application documentation
    • Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches

System Administrator II

  • Perform duties of tier I position
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers, and other systems over the network, in databases, and other data repositories
  • Participate in the recommendation of policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure server security
  • Conduct research on server hardware, software, and protocols in support of procurement and development efforts.
    • Develop new workflows and implement changes to existing workflows
    • Create automation using PowerShell
    • Act as escalation point to other team members for systems related issues and troubleshooting

System Administrator III

  • Perform duties of tier II position
  • Train and develop help desk, security, server, and network administration staff
  • Assist with the oversight of the deployment, integration, and management of security solutions following the information security program and industry best practices
  • Provide technical support to project managers on project teams
  • Provide support for regulatory and compliance audit requests

Adhere to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Lending, and Information Security
