Technology Designer

Troy OR Grand Rapids

Direct Hire/ Permanent Placement

$30-$60 hr. ish (jr.-sr. level roles), Full benefits, Flex/ Hybrid schedule, Bonus, Profit Sharing, etc.

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl, 50 in EE) who work on a wide variety of projects, including: Healthcare, Education, Science & Technology, Sports stadiums, Mission Critical/ Data Centers, Hi-rise/ multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client/ site visits

• Be a part of project team meetings and develop materials for presentations to clients/ owner

• Present technology system concepts/designs to clients and/or design review committees

• Develop and edit project bid documentation, specs, and prepare project cost estimates

REQUIRED/ HIGHLY SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE

• Technology systems background with an emphasis on any of the following: audio/ video systems, security systems, WAN, LAN and WLAN systems, SAN/ Server/ firewalls, phone systems, public address systems, copper and fiber network cabling.

• AS or BS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or similar

• 2+ years of US experience post degree

• AutoCAD or Revit experience ( but not required)

• CTS, RCDD or other industry credentials ( but not required)
