Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv)\n\nOur client, a leader in the power utilities and renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a Tendering Engineer (66kv-132kv) to join their team. This permanent position plays a pivotal role in the preparation and submission of high-quality proposals for power distribution projects, especially in the 66kv to 132kv range.\n\nMultiple positions which offer hybrid / remote working and within the non regulated industry (BESS, Solar, Indistrial, Wind, Data Centre and Light Rail) \n\nx1South x1 Midlands and x1 North located\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nPreparation and submission of technical and commercial proposals\nEstimating costs and creating comprehensive bid documents\nCollaborating with engineering and project management teams to gather necessary information\nReviewing tender specifications and identifying technical requirements\nConducting thorough analyses of tender documentation\nAssessing project risks and creating mitigation strategies\nMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities\nEnsuring compliance with industry standards and regulations\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nExperience in preparing and managing proposals within the power utilities or renewable energy sector\nStrong understanding of power distribution networks, particularly in the 66kv to 132kv range\nProficiency in cost estimating and financial analysis\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to interpret complex technical documents\nEffective communication and collaboration skills\nStrong attention to detail and organisational abilities\nRelevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification\n\nBenefits:\n\nPaying up to £85k\nVehicle allowance or vehicle\n2 days holiday plus Bank Holidays \nPension Contribution \nMonday to Friday 40hrs per week\nRemote / Hybrid working set up (office visit essential, when required)\nOpportunities to work on a variety of challenging projects\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nSupportive and collaborative work environment\nComprehensive employee benefits packageIf you are an experienced Tendering Engineer looking for a new opportunity to leverage your expertise in the power distribution and renewables sector, we would love to hear from you.
