Job Title: Traveling Senior Civil Superintendent
Location: West Texas (Projects across Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo)
Compensation: $175,000 – $195,000 + Per Diem ($125 – $165/day)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

We are actively seeking an experienced Traveling Senior Civil Superintendent to support large-scale data center projects across West Texas, with priority needs in Sweetwater, Amarillo, and Abilene. These are long-term assignments (2+ years) with travel rotation varying by project.

This role is ideal for a field-driven leader who has successfully managed large-scale projects valued at $100M+ and excels in coordinating teams, driving schedules, and delivering high-quality civil construction work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily field operations for civil scopes on large commercial/data center projects
• Lead crews in grading, excavation, trenching, and underground utility installation
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications
• Interpret construction drawings and implement GPS-based layout and grading systems
• Monitor job progress, productivity, and schedule adherence
• Assist in workforce planning, equipment allocation, and site logistics
• Provide regular reporting and updates to project leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in civil construction supervision (Senior-level candidates )
• Proven experience working on projects valued at $100M or greater
• Strong expertise in grading, GPS machine control, and underground utilities
• Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30 certification
• Willingness and ability to travel across project sites (Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing travel rotations

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $175,000 – $195,000
• Per Diem: $125 – $165 per day
