Job Title: Traveling Senior Project Manager
Location: West Texas (Projects across Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo)
Compensation: $175,000 – $195,000 + Per Diem ($125 – $165/day)
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center and commercial construction projects across West Texas, with priority needs in Sweetwater, Amarillo, and Abilene. These are long-term assignments (2+ years), and travel rotation will vary depending on project needs.

This role is ideal for a results-driven leader who has successfully delivered projects valued at $100M+ and thrives in managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution from preconstruction through closeout
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting to ensure financial success
• Develop and maintain master project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, contract negotiations, and performance management
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, clients, and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and contract requirements
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Provide regular reporting on project status, financials, and progress to executive leadership
• Foster strong client relationships and drive client satisfaction

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management (Senior-level candidates )
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $100M or greater
• Background in civil, commercial, industrial, or data center construction
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, travel-based role
• Willingness to travel across project sites (Sweetwater, Abilene, Childress, Amarillo)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project schedules and travel rotations

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $175,000 – $195,000
• Per Diem: $125 – $165 per day
