The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations including inventory control, order processing, and shipping and receiving activities. This position requires proficiency in handling warehouse equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting timely order fulfillment using both manual and computerized systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control to maintain accurate stock levels
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes ensuring compliance with procedures
- Sort and organize materials for proper storage and distribution
- Load and unload shipments safely and promptly
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment proficiently
- Perform quality inspections to meet company standards
- Utilize warehouse management software, Quickbooks Enterprise, and Fedex shipping tools
- Complete related manual paperwork and computer-based documentation
- Strap and wrap skids
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in warehouse operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified forklift operation skills
- Inventory management experience
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Strong safety compliance awareness
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good time management and organizational capabilities
- General computer skills to operate warehouse software systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach, stand, and stay active throughout the day
- Keep the warehouse clean, efficient, and running smoothly with your team
- A great attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
- Reliable, trustworthy and dependable
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
- Must be comfortable using tools such as a drill or chop saw
- Criminal background check
- Pay is based on experience
