Job Description

  • Server Administrator with strong data center and hardware and software experience.
  • They should have experience supporting enterprise server infrastructure through server deployments, decommissions, troubleshooting, monitoring, and hands-on infrastructure support.
  • Candidates should have a combination of server administration experience and strong hands-on hardware skills.
  • The Data Center Technician is expected to execute technical work, solve infrastructure problems, and support the day-to-day operation of enterprise server environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and deploy physical server infrastructure.
  • Perform server decommissions and hardware lifecycle activities.
  • Troubleshoot server hardware and operating system issues.
  • Support rack installations, cabling, fiber, and connectivity activities.
  • Respond to infrastructure incidents and operational issues.
  • Analyze server logs, alerts, and monitoring data.
  • Support Windows Server administration activities.
  • Owns server provisioning, configuration, patching, and maintenance.
  • Support virtualization platforms and production server environments.
  • Perform hardware break/fix and component replacement.
  • Coordinate with systems, networking, storage, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Support monitoring and observability activities across infrastructure environments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset tracking, and operational records.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots both hardware and software related server problems.
  • Maintains operational stability of production infrastructure.
