Asset Management Manager (Investment)

Our client, a pioneer in next-generation digital infrastructure with a strong presence across Asia Pacific, is seeking an experienced FP&A / Business Analyst to support strategic asset lifecycle management and drive financial efficiency across high-value data centre projects. This role is integral in optimising CAPEX/OPEX, improving performance metrics, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Role

The FP&A / Business Analyst will oversee financial planning and analysis across data centre assets, balancing cost efficiency, compliance, and operational resilience. The successful candidate will manage investment lifecycles, analyse key KPIs, and provide insights to senior leadership for strategic decision-making. The role also requires a strong understanding of competitor business models and the ability to propose innovative improvements to maintain a competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute asset management strategies focused on cost, sustainability, and resilience.
• Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, conduct ROI analyses, and report savings opportunities.
• Track and analyse KPIs including utilisation, costs, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Oversee acquisition-to-disposal processes across projects.
• Conduct competitor market studies and propose continuous business improvements.
• Partner with IT, Facilities, Finance, and Operations to align resources with strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Investment, or Business Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ FP&A or business analysis experience within data centres or large-scale commercial real estate projects in Asia.
• Strong modelling, analytical, and presentation skills with a logical and comprehensive approach.
• High integrity with strong professional ethics and team collaboration.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) essential for cross-border stakeholder engagement.
• Prior experience in data centre or large-scale real estate projects preferred.
