Our client, a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centres, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance across their international operations. The Role
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting financial planning and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with group policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations. The successful candidate will assist in budgeting, management reporting, reconciliations, and SAP implementation, while also working closely with local subsidiaries and auditors. Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting activities, tracking results against accounting and financial targets.
- Prepare monthly management reports with variance analysis.
- Work with subsidiaries, auditors, and tax agents to ensure compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
- Assist in the development and review of group accounting policies.
- Perform reconciliations between US GAAP and IFRS.
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Monitor and track government tax incentive progress.
- Provide ad-hoc finance support when required.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience; Big 4 or listed company background advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal controls.
- Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance an advantage.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure with high integrity.
