Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard construction management software. This role involves traveling, managing teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The Associate Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects adhere to specifications, budgets, and schedules while fostering effective communication among leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Maintain project schedules.
  • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and scopes of works (SOW) to ensure accurate project execution.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate smooth project workflows.
  • Maintain project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards.
  • Utilize Trimble(Project Site), ProCore, Bluebeam, and other industry software for project documentation, communication, and coordination.
  • Address project issues proactively through effective construction management and coordination strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, changes, and issues for reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction management with a background in Electrical & PV (Solar). A positive if this includes Data Centers & BESS Systems (Battery Storage).
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, ProCore, and other construction management software tools.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics and understanding project lifecycles.
  • Leadership ability in maintaining project scheduling and project coordination within active construction environments.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects within a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in electrical construction.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
