Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager with expertise in mechanical commercial construction to manage all phases of our projects, from planning through completion. Candidates with industrial construction, specifically data centers, will have a strong advantage. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee schedule, scope, budget, and risk management activities for multiple task orders simultaneously. · Prepare and deliver clear reporting materials, including status updates, risk logs, and resource forecasts. · Support commissioning, operations readiness, and transition-to-maintenance planning. · Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, environmental requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols.· Coordination for the owner and architect issues (change orders, Progress Meetings, etc.) · Creates and presents monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to Board.· Ensures project safety reviews and procedures are followed by conducting weekly safety checks and engaging in safety meetings and monthly review meetings. Supports the safety programs of the project and owner safety programs. · Leads project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages, and working with management to resolve any project claims. Leads the project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion. · Assesses initial project contract and supporting documents for completeness. Works with the owner to resolve specification, contract conflict, and scheduling issues. · Providing technical expertise and experience where needed to solve complex problems.· Acts as the primary point of contact for clients, management, and external partners – Maintains open communication throughout the project lifecycle.· Lead site walks and OAC meetings; keep stakeholders aligned on scope, cost, and timeline.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction, or related field (or equivalent experience). · Minimum 2–6 years of project management experience in construction or MEP engineering. · Familiarity with Texas construction laws, labor codes, and safety standards.
· Strong communication and leadership skills.· Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks (per Texas Education Code §51.215).
