Construction Project Estimator – Data Center Division
Location: Clear Lake or Rosharon (South Houston)
Relocation Assistance Available

A rapidly growing industrial contractor is expanding into the Data Center construction market and has recently been awarded two major projects exceeding $100M each. To support this growth, we are hiring an experienced Construction Project Estimator to join our team.

This is not an entry-level estimating role. We are looking for someone who has already estimated large-scale projects and understands the complexity, precision, and accountability that comes with $25M+ scopes.

Position Overview

The Construction Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for large industrial and data center construction projects. This role will collaborate closely with operations, project management, and leadership to ensure successful bid strategies and execution.

This position reports directly to executive leadership and offers long-term growth within a company that is actively expanding its data center portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial and data center construction projects ($25M+).
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate take-offs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Collaborate with project management and field teams during preconstruction.
• Participate in job site visits as needed (limited travel required).
• Support strategic bid development for large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Proven estimating experience on construction projects valued at $25M+.
• Direct experience in data center construction (required).
• Strong background in industrial construction environments.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications.
• Strong financial acumen and cost control mindset.
• Degree but not required. We value experience and performance.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary approximately $140k-$150K (commensurate with experience)
