Critical Site Supervisor – Data Centre Environment – Croydon - £60,000\n\nFull-Time | Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm (with occasional out-of-hours work)\n\nA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Critical Site Supervisor to take the lead in a secure and high-availability Data Centre environment based in Croydon. This role involves managing a small team of engineers and overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of a critical facility.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead and supervise a small team of engineers, ensuring high standards of service and safety.\n\n * Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across critical building services.\n\n * Support infrastructure projects, including occasional evening and weekend work.\n\n * Perform monthly generator load tests (typically out of hours).\n\n * Ensure the site remains compliant with all statutory and regulatory obligations.\n\n * Act as a local point of contact for emergency response\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Previous experience in a technical supervisory role, ideally within a critical environment such as a data centre or secure facility.\n\n * Strong technical background in electrical and/or mechanical systems.\n\n * Leadership skills with a hands-on approach to team management.\n\n * Willingness and flexibility to support out-of-hours work when needed.\n\n * Must live locally due to emergency response requirements.\n\n * Must be eligible for and willing to complete full Security Clearance checks.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Current HVAP certification (or readiness to achieve within 12 months).\n\n * Experience in secure, high-resilience environments.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * £60,000 base salary plus paid overtime\n\n * 25 days annual leave + 8 paid bank holidays\n\n * Ongoing technical training and career development\n\n * Opportunity to work in a secure, business-critical infrastructure
