Job Title: Business Development Director
Compensation: £85,000 + Bonus + Additional Benefits

Leveraging extensive expertise in facility management, project delivery and advisory services, the company supports clients through every stage, from site selection and construction to ongoing operations and maintenance.
Role Overview: As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding relationships with existing clients in the data centre (colocation) sector. This leadership role will focus on identifying and executing growth strategies, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering tailored Data Centre solutions to enterprise, hyperscale, and cloud customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts for our data centre/colocation services in the London market and wider UK/EMEA region.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to identify, engage, and close new opportunities.
- Cultivate and expand partnerships with key enterprise clients, cloud service providers, managed service providers, and system integrators.
- Work closely with internal teams to design and propose bespoke colocation solutions.
- Own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to negotiation, deal closure, and ongoing account management.
- Maintain robust sales pipeline and accurate forecasts, utilising CRM tools.
- Attend and represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and identify trends influencing client demand.
- Advise clients on best-fit data centre solutions that support their growth and digital strategies.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
- Proven track record of business development, account management, or sales leadership experience preferably in data centres, colocation, or the cloud infrastructure industry.
- Strong network of relationships with enterprise, hyperscale, or technology clients in the UK/EMEA.
- AN understanding of colocation, hosting, and data centre industry trends and requirements.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with C-level stakeholders and technical buyers alike.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on approach, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce ) and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel and be in the office 5 days a week when required.
