Electrical Day Engineer – Data Centre - Doxford, Sunderland – 41k\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are recruiting an Electrical Day Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of a data centre environment. This role offers a stable weekday working pattern with additional on-call earnings and the opportunity to gain HVAP status.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site\n\n * Fault finding and repairs on critical electrical infrastructure\n\n * Supporting site compliance, safety, and operational standards\n\n * Participation in a 1 in 4 on-call rota\n\n * Covering shift duties when required during on-call periods\n\n * Supporting both Doxford and Wynyard sites when on call (pool van provided)\n\nAbout You\n\n * Electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications\n\n * Experience in critical or commercial environments \n\n * Willingness to participate in an on-call rota\n\n * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * Able to pass security clearance\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\nSalary: £41,000\n\n£150 per week standby (1 in 4 on-call rota – £1,950 per year before call-outs)\n\n£1,500 for attaining HVAP status\nHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm\nSecurity: Must be able to pass security clearance
